Home Water Filtration

Published by admin under Water filtration

The DSU filter is designed to filter out bacterial contaminants and is available for home use. The components you will need depend on where you want to install the filter(s).  There are installation kits for sinks, ice machines and showers.  If you just want to filter a cold water drinking faucet and an ice machine line, you might want to consider the Sink Kit for Hot & Cold Lines (70-0262).  This would allow you to place one of the sink lines on your cold water and the other sink line on your ice machine (instead of the hot water).  Both lines are set up to use the quick disconnect system.  Installation instructions are available on this website and are also included in the kits.  The filters you need for the Sink Kit are the 70-0232.  These Kits do not contain filters.

Another option is for you to go with the Starter Kit #2 (70-0272).  This includes 3 Inline Install Kits and 1 Sink Install Kit (2 lines) plus 5 filters.  It also includes a Faucet Disinfect Kit so you can clean the lines from the filter to the end point. Otherwise, any bacterial in this part of the line would enter the system after the filter and be evident in the end-use water.  The inline and sink filters have quick disconnects on both ends.

Biological Water Filters creates biologically engineered water filters that are required for immuno-compromised patients in hospitals and health-conscious consumers in homes.  To learn more, contact us today at 407-444-1066.
